It is a depiction of a Cafe Pool Hall Bar ambiance in demure subtly of Browns, beige, black and the burnish auburn which adds the warm tone to the atmosphere. They don't look as though they are having fun do they? Their kinda just chilling looking at the drunkard that is sleeping at the other table. As we all know Vincent Van Gogh had a very unhappy life and this depiction notates the lack of a happy balance within him. The entire illusion says a lot about what he was trying to tell us about his life. We should imagine greatness in spite of the delusion forecasted here in his depiction.
